RBRT
RBRT (Robert Oeser) moves between classical, contemporary and electronic music, approaching composition without fixed rules or prescribed forms. His music follows feel and flow, allowing a piece to develop intuitively, not constrained by genre or structure.
Natural sounds and processes are a recurring source of inspiration: the movement of water, waves and shifting currents can be heard translated into electronic textures, rhythms and evolving sonic landscapes. Real and imagined sounds merge, transformed through electronic means, into something that sits somewhere between the familiar and the surreal.
With a background in sound engineering and years of experience across guitar, drums and electronic instruments, RBRT approaches music as much through sound design as through composition. He was also a member of a Berlin band associated with the city's emergence of the indie post-rock scene in the mid-2000s.
